Top 10 Homemade Dog Treat Recipes

How to Make Homemade Dog Treats Health

Allow me to introduce four taste tester. His real name is Oakley, but my brother "Oxy", which is short of an oxymoron called.

He is 60 pounds of muscle covered in a thick layer of hair, still shaking uncontrollably when the temperature drops below 60. Instead of barking at strangers, wagging his tail and runs until the postman as if waiting for a bone delivery. Same is intimidated by my 12 pounds Pomeranian! He also thinks he is the ultimate lap dog. No, thought to be a lapdog. Needless to say, Oakley does not meet the real image of a big hard dog.

Recipe # 7 Beef Dog Treat

1 pound lean ground beef (preferably grass) or turkey, chicken, lamb
1 cup beef liver (or chicken liver)
Cut the liver into pieces. Mix with ground beef. Remove gun beef jerky and press the meat mixture on the leaves of your dehydrator. Dehydrator set at 165 degrees for about 3-4 hours or until the meat is dry and crisp.

If you do not have a dehydrator, spread the mixture on a greased baking sheet and bake at 250 degrees F for 4-6 hours. No basting with sauce and soy sauce, etc. Dogs do not need to eat extra salt and believe me, you will love these treats the way they are!
