Plan a special outing with your dog!
Although we take our dogs for a walk every day, it's good for them to explore new things (as long as they are not afraid of these experiences)!
If you have a dog or three like me, all dogs born with their own unique personality. Some like to chase a ball for an hour, others just want to run free in a park or swimming in the ocean. Many would be happy to explore new places and sounds where they are, what they do.
While some may never complain if you're sitting comfortably on the couch, many would not mind to have a panoramic view of the world from time to time. Think of it as your customized version of social networking. Facebook for dogs are sniffing the closest to see who was there first tree!
As we have three dogs, it is sometimes difficult to take all three at once. Then they all got along well together and have similar characteristics, each has its own definition of a good time.
Brandi is happy taking a walk followed by a refreshing dip in the pool, while my other two do not have much interest in water.
Reality Dream Duke would explore a shop full of stuffed animals toys and tennis balls. Taking it to a park to chase a ball is a close second.
Toffee smiled more when there is a flat below!
You may encounter the same individual personality traits in their dogs, so why not plan a couple of hours a day in his honor?
